BySeN started his journey in competitive gaming by playing Counter Strike 1.6 back in 2007. He preferred FPS (First Person Shooting) games over other gaming genres. His enthusiasm for competitive gaming made him to watch matches back in the day when Gamer.LK host tournaments like SLCG. He formed standalone CS 1.6 and CSGO teams and attended many tournaments (Team Apex, Clan Zero). In year 2016 he was introduced to Xiphoes eSports by x3.ROACH and vouched by x3.LAGGER. Later that year he got selected as a CSGO match referee by Gamer.LK. In the year 2016 he played for x3.Memento Mori lead by x3. JACKAL. During that year, x3.Memento Mori managed to reach third place tie in CSGO at SLCG 2016.

After playing Counter Strike for many years, BySeN decided to change his primary game to Overwatch. He played his first Overwatch tournament (RLG Overwatch Championship 2017) representing x3.FTM lead by x3.ArchAngel. Later in 2017 BySeN represented x3.Nitro Zeus lead by x3.Stronghold. He played as a support main. Nitro Zeus managed to clinch runner up titles back to back in tournaments like SLCG, GCOL and SLT eSports from their dedication, commitment and perseverance. In the year 2018 he lead the x3 Overwatch Wing comprised of 6 Overwatch teams. Later in the year 2019 he retired from Xiphoes due to his educational and career aspirations.
